I was part of the beta on this one... for a very short while. I wasnt terribly impressed with it.. I know "beta" law applies, but it just didnt strike a cord in me. And where is the demo? Why arnt these big name games doing demo's anymore? I really like to try before I buy...

Indeed. I'm picking it up tomorrow after talking to Resurrection about it yesterday. I would prefer a demo first, but then again, I HATED the bf2 demo. I'm just gonna have to trust my homie on this one.

Oh, and BTW, I got a new rig. Well, almost. I bought a mobo that only supports 1066fsb and my cpu had 1333 and I dint know it. New mobo should be here monday. Basic specs are C2D 3.0 Ghz, 8GB RAM, of course my faithful 2xRaptor on a RAID0, all topped off with an EVGA 8800GTX.

Picked it up and played on Roosts listen server to test drive it. Felt good and the graphics are good. The only thing I didn't like is that it feels like you are moving with weights -- especially compared to CoD4 which is silky smooth. Oh yeah, and there are no iron sights. That works for BF1942, but for a game today it is inconceivable. Especially for a game that is weighing more than 12 gigs!

Other than that, it feels like a nice addition to my gaming library. I guess only time will tell how well this one will be.

Hey teek, nice seeing you online last night! God bless!

Yeah, that was still on my old rig, which it turns out all my probs were caused by an unstable RAID array. I haven't gamed in months, so I got absolutely no cod4 mojo. I dint have a chance to pick the game up today, too many honey do's. I've been reading a lot of forums from peeps with mixed feelings about ffow. I really hate to spend the money on another game I'll never play.
