Alert | So, I was well set on getting the Asus P5n32-E sli mobo for my new system.
Of course, I had to browse Newegg more and see what else may be out there. I stumble accross the EVGA nForce 680i (its model number is... annoyingly long).
Why must these manufactorers torment me so?! I am now possibly wondering about the EVGA rather then the Asus, based on reviews online and overall reviews of newegg people.
I know this is like the millionth time I've posted stuff about hardware and what not, but some words from the resident techs would be much appreciated.

Alert | | If you do searches, both boards have had issues but I went with the EVGA board and have not regretted it one second. I did a bios update first thing after I got the system up and running and have not had issue one. I have my e6600 intel C2D 2.4 running at 3.0GHZ without having to increase voltage and my OCZ 1066 DDR2 ram running at 4-4-4-12 timings and not one hicup. Go with the EVGA, you wont be disappointed. As I said both boards have history but with the new revisions having been released already you will be good to go. | | | |

Alert | Thanks Forgivin. Overall the specs of boards are the same, it just seems the EVGA is more stable.
Hopefully I dont find something else before I buy! haha!
