Here we can discuss any of the games we are looking forward to in 2008 as well as comment on GamePro's The 48 best games of 2008.

Bah.  Capitalism!  Shame on the free market for causing innovations in game technology that forces users to have to upgrade their PC's in order to participate.  Several of these titles look >cheesy french accent< tres nice!  Although I'm not too sure about being driven to ever purchase a console again...something about controllers that just annoys the heck out of me.  Maybe Ed McMahon will come knocking (is he still alive?) with that giant Publisher's Clearing House check and then I can join the 21st century.

I looked through the list and the only I saw that I like are Starcraft 2 and Fallout 3.  I also might consider playing Unreal Tournament 3.  I find it hard to believe that Grand Theft Auto took the top billing.  I didn't think those games were all that great.  I would like to see a Star Wars Knights of the old Republic 3, but it might take longer for that one.  I don't want them to put the game out too fast and ruin it.
