Well, I visited my dad in the hospital yesterday.  He can't talk but say a few words but it takes him a long time to say them.  two days ago he had seizures and it seems it was a result of blood in the brain that was caused by more tumors.   Was weird at first but  ....ya know I just don't have the energy to go into all of this.

I asked him if he was scared or what he was feeling....he manged to say, "it is in god's"   and I said hands since he couldn't get it out and he smiled.   He then said, "nothing can" and he could finish and I said, "seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." and again he smiled and nodded.

Indeed my friend.

Im extremely grateful that my family has had good health, and pray that it'll go on for awile.

One thing that gives me great peace is knowing that I'll see them again in glory. Its never goodbye, just see ya later. To death is to gain!

Prayin' that the Lord will give you peace when that time comes.

Praying for sure brother. :)

When I hear somebody sigh, "Life is hard," I am always tempted to ask, "Compared to what?"

Praying for you as well. I hope that this unfortunate situation can lead to a better outcome -- i.e your father's salvation and a closer relationship between you both.

I am in the same boat as you. My father is not doing well either and the cancer should be consuming him sooner than later, unfortunately. They have ceased with the chemo and it is just a matter of time. According to the docs, he has only about 2-to3 months left. Sadly, unlike your dad, my pop doesn't seem to be at peace or in a reconciliation-type mood. Hopefully, the Lord will touch him before they meet so we here are not left with a sour taste in our mouths.

Anyway, I understand some of the feelings you are experiencing at this time. It is very difficult to have to juggle life's responsibilities at the same moment this is occurring (or even showing the happy face when the heart is cracked). But know you have a brother here who cares and has an idea of what you must be going through. God bless.
